alot.
i really do. a good pen is a real instrument. and very useful. i'm in a constant search for a favorite pen. i thought i had finally found one when i had discovered the pilot v5 some years ago, and i sued it alot. 'tis still one of my favorite liquid ink pens by far. as far as gel ink pens, i have had many. one of my most recents, is an indian pen, a Cello Magna. talk about buttery smooth.
but as of late, i have decided to look more into fountain pens. i really love writing with fountain pens and quills (AKA dipping pens). the main thing i have hated about them, though, is the price, of both the pens, let alone the ink. there's something about them, that just keeps me loving them, when i cant afford to shell out 8 bucks for 4 tiny cartridges that would only last me a few days of daily writing. i really hate cartridges. especially the refillable ones. they're so inconsistant, and you always have to worry about them drying up. such a pain in the arse. not to mention the over all maitenence o the pens is just a killer draw back.
recently, however, i discovered the revival of an older technique of using fountain pens, the eyedropper method. it essentially is filling a fountain pen's barrel straight up with ink, forgoing the cartridges i despise. i didnt have the heart to fill any of my pens up with ink, until recently i read about a cheap fountain pen on The Pen Addict, the Pilot Penmanship. eagerly, i read more and more on it, until i found out it is a favorite to eyedropper mod, next to another pen i had found out about in my quest for cheap fountain pens.
now, on Jet Pens, i found the the Penmanship for $7.50. not bad. not bad at all. it would fit my budget rather nicely. i had honestly never expected to find such a wide berth of cheap fountain pens. as it turn out, cheap, and often disposable, fountain pens have been the latest writing trend. you can just guess how thrilled i am bout that! so in y quest for searching for the ulimate cheap fountain pen, i chanced upon the Platinum Preppy, a favorite for eyedropper pens. and i now see why. falling at just $3 at jetpens, i thought this pen would be ideal for the mod. i promptly added one of them to cart along with a Penmanship.
later, however, i deleted it, as in my search for a good ink, i chanced upon a great deal. Noodler's inks, are by far, the best ink i have used. their inks are just fabulous. they have so many varieties, that i initially had a ton of trouble deciding which one to buy. i had read much about it, and so i knew i just had to go with Noodler's. finally, i saw The Heart of Darkness color, a truly dark black ink. available in a 4.5oz bottle with an eyedropper lid, i knew this is the ink i wanted. just $19 too! and now, the reason i deleted the Preppy from the cart, is that the ink came with a free, unmarked Preppy, pre-modded for eyedropper use!! i soon had my dad order me the ink with the free pen, as well as a Penmanship.
so, within 2 days or so of ordering, i had the package on my doorstep! i got rather close to being as excited as when my new longboard came (i havent written about that yet, have i?). and i assure you, i was pretty damn excited. i ran inside, and i opened up the box and yanked out the ink and the preppy, and promptly filled it at my desk, and began doodling. i think i'm in love. i have finally found my favorite pen. it wrote so smooth, also thanks to the lubricated Noodler's ink. i didnt have to deal with the tedious task of filling the cartridge, and i jut got straight to writing, a dream come true! it also meant i didnt have to deal with potential air pockets in the cartridge, making the flow inconsistent.
i havent filled my penmanship just yet, as i dont have an o-ring to seal up the threads, but i'm sure i'll be rather please with it as well. i have decided to stock up on Preppies, as i've just fallen inlove with their cheap, amazingness. plus i have oodles of ink to doodle with.
and i assure you. i'm not weird at all.
just eccentric.
well, my grades have dropped ever so slightly since my last post.. sad, but they shall be up soon. i hope. since the last post much has happened. ankles better, so i'm out on Layla more often, which is amazing. MVSNL was a success, rehearsal for C.O.E. is going strong. been doing some good stuff in photography, lets see what else...
i dunno, really.
so i'm gonna make this post about MVSNL. in all, total success. we completely sol out the first show, not sure about the second, but it was packed! it was oodles of fun! like seriously! i took loads of portraits backstage of fellow cast members on the second, and closing night. i figured out how to bounce my flash really well. i mean, i had read up on it and all, but never really tried it very much.i think i've gotten a good feel for how to bounce light off of where at what angle and degree for highlights on this part of the face. this following picture for instance is my first bounced photo. turned out damn good IMO.
there was this wall directly across from the backstage doors, that i just fell in love with. it bounced the light beautifully, and made the photos real warm.
this one turned out great. slightly too white ish, but otherwise, still nice and well lit over all. i also took a few with out flash but only one or two came out really noteworthy. this one was one of them:
i wish the background was nicer, but thanks to a good bokeh from my trusty nifty fifty, the parking lot served well enough. i also began to shoot manual a bit later, and stuck to it for a while. i do say, it yielded some of my best shots for the night. it darkened the skin tones enough that they didn't seemed washed out by the flash. also, it managed to turn the background black in may photos, and added some pretty epic light and shadow affects if i may say so myself.
heres one of my favorites, of Karina and my new apprentice in the ways of awesomeness, Mikey.
speaking of cool lighting on photos, i've always wanted to take a photo like this next one. i really find them amazingly cool. 'tis a shame, though, that there were people in the back.
now re' that photography rule, called the Rule of Thirds. which is basically you frame your subject in one of the three thirds, that separate a frame horizontally. typically you avoid the center third for a more interesting photo. but i think there should be a rule of halfs, as sometimes, you just cant use the rule of thirds (especially with a fixed zoom lens!). also, i sometimes love photo bombers. especially like this. oh it would have been so epic if there wasnt bokeh, but it kinda's cool with it:
well, that's all for tonight. maybe i'll do more this week, or possibly next. you never know. i'm too unreliable when it comes to blogging.
well, yes i'm sorry about that! and, crooks, since you're like the only one who actually checks this blog every now and then, say this word to me next time you see me after reading this: megalodon.
hell anyone who knows me, say that to me!! but yea, I've been pretty busy since my last post.
school isn't so bad yet.
yet.
hmm lets see, the end of summer, went to Puerto Rico with my pops and bro. had a real blast. its honestly a beautiful island. we did alot there. we went deep sea fishin'. my bor caught like a 275lb Blue Marlin, while i brought in a 4ft long Barracuda!! fantasmic revenge for the bloody 'cuda that ate my baby tuna that i had hooked in the Bahamas about 5 years prior. also, we went zip-lining. man! was that a BLAST!! the food was rather good too; well, at certain places. there's a place we liked so much we went back there 3 times!!
so in school, i have been studying hard... but yet i already have an A- and 3 Bs... bollocks! ah wel, i'm gonna need to start working harder. i auditioned for the school fall play, and managed to hook the role of Antipholus of Syracuse in Shakespeare's Comedy Of Errors...
yoikes there's so many lines you have no idea! I've been stressing like mad!!! argghhh!!! i don't even know how i was chosen! this is seriously my first full length play since i was 8 or 9. mind blowing, i know. and even then, i only had tree lines then!! I'm really freaking out about lines, but I'm also really excited, because its gonna be oodles of fun!
now lets see, what else?
oh yea, I'd like to thank crooks again for having the coolest birthday party ever by taking us to the Green Day concert on the 4th of this month. it was amazing! honestly, musically, i have been to better concerts, but show wise, easily one of the best shows I've ever been to!! they put on an amazing show!! it was the last show of their tour, so they really pulled out all the works! coolest part? they said that they were recording the concert for a live album!!! so sweet!
speaking of concerts, i have 2 other concerts this month I'm really looking forward to!! on the 22nd, i have a Blue October concert! I'm really excited because i missed them last time 'round at the Fillmore because my dad fell sick last minute, and my mum couldn't take me. but hell, that's the past, and i am going this year!! Also, on the 30th, I'm going to see Jimmy Eat World live!! that's one show I'm honestly stoked out of my mind for!! GAHHHH!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!! J.E.W. (hey! it spells "jew" coolio!) is such an awesome band!!
speaking of stoke for you longboarding readers, (ok i'm using that phrase a tad too much), i have an order placed for a clutch jailbait with custom dyed purple/black carbon fiber!! woo! i'm incredibly stoked for that board to come!! thinking of setting it up with gunmetals and Oops! , or possibly Indy's or Hybrids... honestly cant decide yet. but i'm really excited. also, i've found a ton of new longboarding friends!! thats really exciting, cuz now i have people to go ride with. in fact i had a sesh last saturday, but i had to miss it because some stupid girl just totally ruined my skating for the next 2 months... well, 2 weeks, but i'm not taking any risks because of the play.
basically, on thursday, on my way to school, some stupid girl was crossing the street to the sidewalk where i was riding t a decent pace. she made eye contact with me when she had stepped up onto the cub. i had obviously no room to stop, nor any to go around her. yet the numbskull decided to step right infront of me. i attempted to carve around her as not to totally deck her. thanks to my latest bushing combo of 93a and 88a venom elims, my front trucks got around. unfortunately, my rear trucks didnt entirely. my left wheel hit the dirt, stalling my board, thus sending me flying off. whcih, by the way, is not a very fun way to start the day. i landed with pretty much all my force on my left ankle, which is now sprained. 2 week downtime. but i'm taking 2 months, because i really do not want to jeopardize the play.
ok so yea, thats it for now. some news about the blog. i'm planning on changing the layout, as this one's getting old... so if you have any recommendations for sites that do really cool, and simple layouts for free, please comment here! also, i'm changing the style of my blog from very infrequent, but überly long posts that probably bore the lot of you to death, so semi-frequent, blog posts, and i may also use this as a photo blog... no not like how people use tumblr. like i may post some photos i took and like and wanna share, or someone else's photo i like alot. i dunno. let it just be know that changes shall be made soon!
but oddly enough, there haven't been.
i didn't even realize its been a whole bloody month without me writing on my own blog.I've been much too preoccupied with sleeping, and screwing around. sometimes i'm nuttier than squirrel poo. amazing phrase wasn't that? i know you're just laughing your head off in you chair right now. oh thank you Harry Potter!
i honestly haven't been up to much this whole summer. I've, as my brother puts it, "slept my whole effing summer away, dumb ass!".
well, its true. staying up till 2 or later, then waking up in the PM equivalent hasn't proven the most productive tactic, eh? so I'm starting to get back off my ass, and get productive. or so i keep telling myself and my family.
well, i remember promising a post birthday post, so here's a chunk of one, no matter how delayed.
my birthday it self was very nice. and just plain amazing. i woke up decently early, considering, and was greeted with many "happy birthdays" from my family. i honestly couldn't believe i was now officially 15. like i had said, thanks to toy story 3, i was beginning to dread my birthday, but now, a month later, i realized how stupid i was. sure I'm growing up.sure, i have toys that i haven't played with in years. but that isn't bad. i can play with those anytime i want. and believe me i do. no matter how old i am, nor how big i am, I'm just a little kid inside, as we all are, somewhere.
well, after i realized my stupidity, i chilled, my pops decided to tell me to get dressed, and said he was taking me some where. so i did, and my whole family came with me. my dad had decided to surprise me and take me to the camera store! man, you have no idea how over-joyed i was!
after a few minutes of anticipation, i had asked to buy the flash and 50mm lens i had been wanting for MONTHS!! along with some small accessories.after that, e went out for lunch. to Korean BBQ. for those of you who haven't been to the place we go to, Palace Korean BBQ,or Korean BBQ in general, its basically a big table, with a mini gas grill in the middle, and you grill marinated meats of your choice right there.
if you know me, you'd know, next to steak, in-n-out, and Brazilian BBQ, that's some of my favorite meat in the world. so at this very one, there's essentially a buffet of raw, marinated meats, ranging from chicken to squid sliver. my personal favorite is the spicy pork, and i totally gorged myself on that stuff. WORTH IT! anywho, after that, headed home, and chilled until dinner with family friends, at BJ's. it gave me a great opportunity to try out my new lens and flash.
but honestly turning 15 wasn't that big of a deal. the main thing i got out of it was growing oh so closer to driving. which is one of the things i've been truly wishing to do since i was a little kid. i have always loved cars, and everything to do with them. still do frankly. i'm known to randomly make sounds of a manual sports car gunning down the road, shifting gears and all. just because i was bored. i still play with my Hot Wheels cars and my proper models all the time. its just so satisfying. driving is the one thing i havent been able to wait for. i just want to sit behind the wheel soo bad!! everyone in my family jokes around saying i wont get a car till I'm 21, as I'm too reckless and will go too fast.
sure, i love speed. alot, but i have an insane respect for cars. unless its a TOTAL P.O.S., i wouldnt do anything that would put my car at risk! i looovves cars! as far as dream cars go, i have many. realistically, even somewhat, there are two. and that's either a '65-'67 Mustang GT500 Fastback (must be Fastback!) or a '68-'73 Corvette Stingray. my true less realistic, but still possible dream car would be a '63 Corvette Stingray, with split rear windows. man that cars so beautiful. i'd even settle for a '64 or maybe a '65, but the '63 is where my heart is. but the car i know i will never have a chance to own, but i still worship, is the unproduced, Corvette Mako Shark II. sexiest. car. ever.
but its not like i don't like sexy sports cars. believe me i do. i have a fantastic taste in cars, if i may say so myself. i love a goo lambo murcialago LP450, or better yet, a Diablo, and I'm partial to a Ferrari Enzo, and F50, but its all about the Bugatti Veyron!! i also do LOVE an Audi R8. ssoooooo beautiful!
as far as cars go, they need to be hot, and fast. and comfy. then they are awesome.
anyways, I'm off to bed. I'm ever so slightly tired after being chucked out of bed rather forcibly by my irritated brother, so 'gnight, and maybe if i DON'T promise to write another post soon, i'll actually do it, eh?
well, this summer so far, i've done nothing but sleeping till noon, or typically later, and go to sleep 'round 2ish+.i really ought to end it...
anyways, otherwise it hasnt been very eventful. i've been riding my new longboard, Layla quite often. she really is awesome. i dont regret buying her. i seriously suffer from G.A.S. though. also know as Gear Acquisition Syndrome. yea. whatever hobbies i get into, i always need to have a lot of things related to it.
happened when i yoyoed. then again, i was never any good, and only did it to chill with my bro. longboarding is actually something i like.
anyways. today, errrrr, yesterday was my birthday party. yes, as of today (today today) i'm 15.
this is crazy. thanks to Toy Story 3, i feel as if my childhood's ending. that movie brought back memories o my wee years, when there was nothing to worry about, everything was so easy, and i had no responsibilities. the ending of the movie hit me hard. i cant believe they had andy do that.
right after the movie, i went and played with all the old toys of mine i still have, including one woody and one buzz. so i was both anxious and slightly dreading it yet excited about my birthday coming right up. and then WHAM! (see there lit teacher? i used onomatopoeia!) it hit me. i really didnt see it coming. but now i'm 15. just half a year from driving. i cant wait. theres so much out there or me. yet i feel like my lifes starting to run out. i just turned 15 but my minds feels as if i turned 50. theres so much i've done, yet so much i havent. for my party, i reaaaalllyyy wanted to rent a 4-in-1 jumphouse. it would have been so epic! but i was stupid and i didnt really plan my party.
and somethings really odd. lately there has been birds chirping away through out the wee hours o the morn'. seriously, what the hell?
WILL THEY SHUT UP? its so annoying!! better than cicadas at any rate.
anywho, i'm off to bed, and i'll write up a post birthday post.
sorry. i have been busy. school ended last week. man, was that relieving. school, well, lets not bring up that unfortunate subject more than i have to. but i can say finals werent as bad as i thought they'd be. i managed to pull my bio grade up. thats good.
but thats about it when it comes to that damned place.
summer feels good so ar. sleeping in as long as i want., doing anything i want, etc.
My longboard finally shipped out!! YES! and BC said they'd toss in a free shirt for the wait. thats really cool of 'em. but rankly i'm as excited as possible. it reached San Pablo CA around 4:30 yesterday. San Pablo is not but 1.5 hours away! yet still, i received no package on my doorstep. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!
leave it to UPS. i hate 'em!!
so hopefully it comes tomorrow, and i it doesnt, i'm assuming they're trying to hold onto it until the day they predict it to be on my doorstep comes around. I'm really tempted to make a Midnight + raid on the UPS Processing Facility tonight. It will involve rescuing my longboard, then blowing up the place with a huge explosion JUST as we leave, sending us flying into the ground with ridiculous expressions of fear, pain, and victory on our faces.
anyone in?
well, yea. i cant wait to get my board!!! i've been waiting ages for it. i've just ordered it not but a month ago, yet i already have another board in my sight. a Rolls-Rolls Woody 85. sooo nice!! it shall be done, in good time.
i really want a summer job. one that pays good too. i mean, i need money more now that i'm a teenager and my parental units wont just shell out money for something i want. it also doesnt help that the things i want happen to b ridonulously expensive. why oh why did i have to get into PHOTOGRAPHY of all damned things!!??!!!
lenses are soo bloody expensive!! i've been attempting to hunt down a Canon Nifty Fifty used for the past coupla weeks, but to no avail. hopefully my pops just lets me shell out my own savings on it.
i've noticed my "f" key is ridiculous sticky. dunno how it got to be like that.
anyways, i'll try to blog more often over the summer. we'll see how that goes.
and if you or anyone you know is interested in hiring an amateur photographer, CONTACT ME!!
FOR ANOTHER PIE POST!
well, as you must know, pie is one of the most amazing creations on this planet. i would love to meet the inventor of pie and give 'em a huge ol' hug. seriously! whats life with out pie?
i think i need to get a good meat pie. there's a great Steak and Onion Pie at The Duke of Edinburgh, buut i'm kinda sick of that 'un. and there's no good Brit Pubs locally, or even sublocaly. Brittannia Arms sucked.
but onto sweet pies, i still worship a good cherry, but i've been dying to try a good blue berry.
think about how amazing pie is. a nice, sweet, golden brown crust that crumbles perfectly in your mouth. the filling perfectly sweet and yummy.
soft and gooey, yet still has txture.
damn it. i made myself drool. maybe i shouldnt blog while hungry, and in a bad mood.
pie is mah comfort fud.
WHATS YOUR FAVORITE KIND?
comment here or on facebook, or what not.
before you get any preconceived notions that i'm becoming some stupid jobros loser, i'm not.
thats more of a title of the thing i participated in last friday evening.
Students On Stage by MV Beginning Drama. 'twas a blast really. my partner and i preformed a scene from Thorton Wilder's Our Town. weird play, didnt really enjoy reading it, but twas fun to act. i think. i dunno. every one did fantastically. they made me slick my hair back, which was weird. i think that was the most pictures i've ever had taken of me in one night. seriously!
yesterday, i finally got around to going through with my plans of creaing my own super hero for a comic book. His name is the Time-Keeper. he has a general control over time. i wont give away any more of the story line, as its pretty good, if i may say so myself. the art is gonna be a pain though, but hey, thats comics for ya! i also decided to start an acrylic painting of Time-Keeper to get a good idea of what he's going to lookk like. and i must say, 'tis going quite well! stoked!
on the note of stoke, sadly, my stoke-ometer is drooping into the dangerously low levels. still no shipping tracking code yet, with the end of school not but 2 weeks away. which isnt good. dare i say it, but i dnt want school to end for at leats three weeks. well, a part of me atleast.
my bio grades a C which i needta pull up, as is my french. a BORDERLINE C+!! GAHHH! soo close! but the tests have just been slammed on us so hard i havent been able to cope. i should start doing my math homework so it doesnt droop into a B+. i should have an A, but i just dont care. and thats bad. i've plain stopped caring; its as if i have come down with Senoritis. BUT I"M STILL A FRESHMAN!!
i keep trying to slap my self back into it, but i cant. ah well. i have 2 weeks to pull up my socks and become more responsible, and thats exactly whats going to happen. or so i hope.
this weekend shall be good. i intend to bake a loaf of bread. 'twill be 'un. i've baked all sorts of crap, but not breads and such, so this'll be fun, hopefully.i cant remember right now all else i've planned to do this week.
well, anywho, 'nuff for now. more up sooner or later. i'm tired, so nighty night.
i've come to the conclusion that tea doesnt affect me very much caffiene wise. after my severe energy drink addiction back in 7th and part of eighth grade, i highly doubt caffeine truley affects me much anymore. to get that caffeine "high", i had to have some 3 to 4 cans a DAY! absurd, no? i honestly have to thank my friend for telling me shouldn't talk to me if i kept drinking that crap, for helping me get off of it.
but anyways, i enjoy a good cup of tea, or a whole pot, quite often. Last night, we went out for dinner at this Japanese Fusion Tapas restaurant. There, i had 2 whole pots of tea! Hoji Cha, to be exact. its my favorite kind, and its essentially Roasted Green tea. Its very tasty, and quite different than plain ol' green tea. i love it. i also enjoy some masala chai, whenever my mum decides to make some. nice and sweet of course! i also like plain old tea, with a dash of milk and LOADS of sugar. i think the only tea i drink that's REMOTELY healthy for me, is the Hoji Cha, mostly because i drink it plain. Rule of thumb: NEVER add ANYTHING but water to green tea. otherwise it dies. the one exception? Honey.
but linking back to the caffeine, those two pots o tea didn't keep me wired and awake till the wee hours of the morn'. in fact, it did quite the opposite! i came home, finished some homework, and then passed out.
another thing about my old caffeine addiction, i don't know its correlated or not, but i believe it is; is i have insomnia. some nights, i cant fall asleep for hours. Others, i wake up sporadically through out the night. just randomly. and others, i just dont sleep at all. i cant help it! the parental units are quite against the sleep aids, such as Tylenol PM, but i guess they should be. who knows what's in that.
and in other news, totally unrelated, MY LONGBOARD IS SHIPPING OUT NEXT WEEK! STOKE! being boardless all this time has been purely torturous. and i was weak, and did some stupid things. i mounted my Randals and high grades with green elims and red Randal cones on a 8/.75" wide vert skate deck. i havet ridden it yet, in the fear i may kill myself by accident. i tried it, however, with purple khiro barrels and red randal cones. that wasnt too bad. just ridiculously high. but anywho, not much else going on.
in Drama, i've gotten my scene lines pretty down, and my scene partner has hers down. so its just a matter of time now.
so yea, G'Night!
well, i've been so excited for this movie ever since it was announced! sadly, i did not get to see it on thursday night/friday morning, as i've been sick all week. which sucks. still am. and hating it.
anywho, i finally saw it tonight! and boy, 'twas amazing! there's so much to say about it! it was everything i expected and MORE! GREAT film, and i would DEFINITELY recommend seeing it ASAP! Scarlett Johannson is soooooooo BLOODY HOT! ZOMG! HOTTTTT!!!
and yea. Tony's new armor, the Mark V (i believe) is amazing. still not perected, as the man developes tons. but still, they did the comic justice.
so as all Marvel Comics, It had a Killer important after-the-credits scene. Last Iron Man, it was introducing Nick Fury, and S.H.I.E.L.D. they played their part in the movie, so thats great!
But this after seen is tied to a future Marvel Film. Two actually. It's not much of a spoiler, as they've already been announced, but A Thor and The Avengers movies are in the works. so the end scene was essentially a pan ot of Thors happer. i was the only one in the packed ( and i mean PACKED) theater who recognized it for the hammer... stunned or a second, i realized no one else knew what itwas?
so i then yelled out "what? you dont know what that is? It's Thor's Hammer! THOR!"
that sent everyone mumbling about thor and the hammer. and sent me thinking. i noticed(right before the credits) a folder with S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers stamped on it. i wont tell you whats its in it, as thats an epic spoiler, but i told you that.
so then i realized that they announced the Avengers film! and i started hopping with joy! IT WILL BE EEEEPPPIICCC!!!
i'm soory, i'm just an epic comic book geek!
and sadly, Rolling Stone still hasnt gotten back to me. so i'm taking it as a no. hell, i never thought they'd say yes, but it was worth a shot, eh?
so as i said in my last post. i went to Picture Atlantic's show at Bottom of the Hill in San Fran. sadly none of you guys (if applicable) or any of the kids i told aout the show came, but it was a fantastic show!! truly! Please Do Not Fight was amazing, and deserves just as much praise as P.A. another surprisingly good performance was by Bird By Bird. i went to the show not having any expectations about them, but left with a good opinion! their music ROCKED, but their lyrics were very weak. nonetheless, i liked them enough to buy their EP. but P.A. was amazing! they are just a fantastic band, and i'm just waiting for them to get big! plus then i can say i have been following the band for ages, and i know all of em by name!! but i also bought their brand new EP, Dulce Est Decorum Et. and its amazing! its on iTunes right now, or you can buy a hard copy at their online sore accessible by googling their name, going to their website, an then to their merchstore. check t out. seriously!
so, i also saw Kick-Ass in the time between these two pots... one word for it: AMAZING!!! i absolutely loved it! it totally lived up to the comic, i must say. action was amazing, plus the actress for Katie was hot!
and Hit-Girl was a bloody beastess. seriously. she kicked more ass than kick ass! the actress for her was fantastic. she made the movie right there. and Nick Cage did a great job on Big Daddy. if you havent seen it yet, GO SEE IT!!. iron man 2 is coming out this coming Thursday night!!! SOOO EXCITED! i'm goin' for the premier. me mum is picken' me up after school and taking me straight to the theater.
oh, and my mum came home three days ago! sorry, four.
its great to have her back!
so i really dont know what else to blog about today... well, my long board should be coming later next week o some time the week after!! i'm so bloody excited for it right now, that i dont even know how to express it.
oh, and yesterday, i sent an email to Rolling Stone magazine, asking if i wrote an article, would they publish it. i really hope they get back to me about it soon! an hopefully with good answers, or at least moderatly. that'd be so much fun!!
so yea, i'll post and update on that later.
This last weekend was pretty average, so that's not what I'm writing about.
no. I'm writing about this coming weekend! so much going on!
well, first, we need to get through stupid STAR Testing... I'm seriously hoping i don't pass out after/during a test again.
yes, last year i passed out due to dehydration last year. little story behind that: i was taking the history STAR Test in my 1st period history class. epically easy. finished the whole bloody thing in 15 minutes. got a 98% too. but anyways, 3 minutes after i finished, i started feeling; well, bad... i finally got to the point where i asked to be dismissed from class. i got to the office and 5 minutes later, after a brief call to my mum to pick me up, i passed out....
needless to say, i'm trying my best to avoid this happening again, so i plan on, and am carrying around a water bottle. (nearly wrote the line from Tenacious D's song Tribute,"Needless to say/ the beast was stunned.../)
but Thursday'll be nice since we get to go to school at 10am instead of 735am. mmhhmmmm sleep.
Friday is 935. but that's the day i wish we got to go to school at 10. why?
because that amazing day isn't just the end of the week, but the beginning of an epic weekend.
yet again, you may be thinking,"so what, just a weekend?".
well, its better than that! its the Friday that BC Longboards are taking pre-orders!!
STTOOOOKKKKEEE!!!!!!
I've been waiting for this fateful day for some 5 months now!! and now here's the sucker. they're taking orders at 10am our time... sadly I'll be at school which bites a lot...
I'm considering being "sick" just to get mah board, but I'm gonna ask 'em if i can order my board earlier, and maybe my being a fan boy will've earned me enough brownie points for that to work!
but that's not the apex of my weekend.
Saturday evening is my favorite band, Picture Atlantic's Album Release show!!
it'll be amazing! they're also performing with my brother's friend's older brother's band, Please Do Not Fight. its going to be a great show, and if you're going to be in San Fran on Saturday evening, swing by and check out the show at Bottom of the Hill at 8:30
no plans for Sunday as of yet, but who knows as the week goes, eh?
and i keep apologizing for the rare posts. here i am apologizing again. SORREH!
the amzingly fun day that comes around once a year... or less often as you age, haha.
anyways, tomorrow's my good friend's birthday, but we celebrated yesterday. great fun.and my brother's is on Tuesday. believe it or not, he doesnt want to turn 17, however awesome of an age that is. he's been counting down the day till it, but not the way most normal people do. odd, huh? anyways, he's been asking me to get him a pocket knife for his birthday. i've been bugging my dad to let me buy it for him, but initially he was against it. but now, i have it sitting in my (very) messy room, in plain site, and he still hasnt found it, nor knows about it.
well, thats something i can give him to brighten up his day, eh?
sad news for though is that he has night classes on his birthday night. awfuly sad, huh?
but anyways, i'm excited for him to take his driving test on the 14 so i can get him to take me for pre-idnight runs to taco bell. pre-idnight because the stupid one close by closes at 12 am...
grrr.
anyways, few days ago, my bro and i got to chill out with the guys from Picture Atlantic and the guys and girl from Please Do Not Fight. really fun to chill with them, and theres a show on the 24th of april, which any of you guys who are local to san francisco should ome to. its at the Bottom of the Hill at 8:30. great show, so be there!!
i've no blogged in DAYS!
terribly sorry to those of you who read this blog.
anywho, last weekend was my good bud's birthday, which wa fun as usual!
we pulled our traditional all nighter, which was a blast. even though i was the only one who didnt pass out... again.
my idiot buddy made another impulse purchase at 3 A.M. the ones that you always regret in the morning, you know?
we chilled all night screwing around... and around 6 am we got bored and went down stair to play this video game called Castle Crashers. FINALLY a game i kicked ass at!'
twas pretty fun, but hella trippy, but that coulda been the combination of monster energy drink, no sleep and flashing colors.
so later that day i go home around 4 pm, and i screwed aroud for half an hour before trying to sleep. i havent been sleeping well lately, so i was zonked. anyways, around 6:50 pm, my dad wakes me up and tells me to do my homework, and says that he and my brother are going to a family friend's house for awhile.
apparently i was wide awake, responded coherently, and actually started my jobs.
somehow i dont remember anY of this. crazy huh?
but wait, there's more!
when they got home arond 9:30, i was woken up by the sound of my brother charging down the hall yelling " ADI YOU IDIOT! WHY'D YOU LET THE DOG PISS IN THE BLOODY HOUSE?"
I was like "whaaaatttt?" really groggily.
he's like "you dumbass, you let tasha piss in the living room! why didnt you let her out?"
"cuz i was asleep"
my dad enters and was like "Adi, what are you doing back in bed? why did you let Tasha pee in the house? why didnt you let her out?"
"i was asleep, dad! i jst woke up!"
"no you woke up at 6:50!"
"i did"
"Yes dumbass1' said mah brother.
"whoa, crazy! what happened?"
and then they told me what i said above.
worst part is, now i'm scared to know what i did subconsciously!!
anyways, april first was another Bud's birfdays, and also April fool's day. which was pretty fun. the rest of the week was pretty mundane.
tomorrow night is The Odyssey Cast and Crew Party, which i'm really excited for! 'Twill be fun!
also, I'M SUPER-DUPER ÜBERLY EXCITED FOR WONDER-CON ON SUNDAY!1 W00T!
for those of you un-comic book lovers, thats like Comic-Cons Awesome little brother!!
so pumped!!
and i'm ordering my new board as soon as i can. she already hs a name. eerrrrr, technically.still deciding between Scarlett and Layla.
tell me what you think!
more tomorrow hopefully!
around 11 pm-ish, i had a semi-severe allergic reaction... to eggplant.
i've always stayed away the gross looking stuff, because, well it lookked gross. also, it didnt help my mum is allergic to the evil vegetable too.
anyways, we ate dinner around 830 ish, and i was getting stomach pains aroound 915ish, and then i satrted to itch, and tongue swelled up at 945. about 10 20 ish, everything was getting worse, and my esophagus started to feel constricted, and my breathing was heavier. i asked my dad to take a look at my neck since it was itching like hell, and apparently my neck broke out into hives like crazy.
we rushed to the ER, and blah blah blah...
i got an IV, which was surprisingly cool.
i mean its pretty damn weird i find getting a needle poked into my vein and then a skinny plastic tube, then having saline rushing into my veins, with Benedryll and steroids, and some Beta-2 Blockers...
i passed out within 2 minutes of getting the benedryll. that stuff was crazy.
anyways, now i have these two wristbands from the hospital i'm keeping as mementos...
i'll try to gt a more, errr, differnt blog post up later... hitting the gym right now.
is extremely fun to be a part of!
i'm glad to say i had a part in such an amazing, albeit stressful, show!
its let me out whatever shell i had left! hnging out and taking to everyone is soo much fun. tis gonna suck hen its over tomorrow nigh.
and thats why you all should come see it...
i honestly believe we put in too much work for just 4 shows! quite upsetting really.
innout tonight was fun. there were the same douche bags from Kings Academy there doing the same douchey dance... i mean seriously? 2 friday nights in a row?
then there was the cat from another high schools production of High School Musical2. they were pretty chill, but show offs. if you read up till here comment on this post saying: rooster.
i think i'm definitely going to go for a spoken part for the fall play next school year!
and you know what, i just cant spell definitely! oh the wonders of spell check and auto correction.
annyywwwaaayyyysssss...
yea. the teacher is apparently safe for his job and is coming bac monday from what i've gathered. and now i'm exhoosted and going to bed...
ok some clarifiation on the awesome teacher thingie in the last post: i talked to another awesome teacher, (whom i actually had btw) and she told me that he was under review currently and is under a 5 day suspension.
apparently what really happened was that he was carrying something really heavy, and some kids attacked him with ice balls (not snow, ice!) and he had no way to block them. what happened was it hit him in the face and knocked and bent his glasses.
not cool, you little eighth grade twerps.
admittedly, he didnt react the best way, by fling snow at them...
but some adult saw this whole thing and was egging the twerps to sue him.
not right, douche, not right. he's a well respected and loved teacher, you cant just do that!
the teacher went to the students later and apologized, and said he was wrong, and all, but still, the adult came to the office and reported it. yet again, not cool dude.
well thats that. look, i dont want you guys reading this, if theres any of you, spreading this too much ok? as long as not many people know about this, tis fine...
and ignore any douches saying rumors about him slamming the kid into the snow, or shoving him into a bear-locker for 10 minutes. tis TOTAL bull. right now its down to the kids and their parents to whether or not they pursue this, and i honetly hope they do not. it'd be a shame to see such a great educator be let go like that. if he does get fired, i guarantee that school's going down the crapper.
this is as close to the truth i've found out as of yet, so try to correct any douches spreading lies, mmk?
coolio. regular post later tonight! i has huge french project to start!!
NOTE: I AM PRETTY SURE THIS IS MOSTLY WHAT HAPPENED, BUT DO NOT, AND I REPEAT, DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THIS. if mentioning to an adult, please leave out my name, as i do not want to get caught up in this.and just sit tight, and be patient. it'll be over soon, just hope he gets out ok.
and little middle schoolers, revolting will get you nowhere.
apparently the coolest, most awesome teacher left at my old middle school, KMS.
did i say left, i meant canned. for apparently throwing a snowball at some kid... big deal? i think not! almost every teacher who went to yosemite last year was involved some snowball fight or another, and they didnt get busted!
difference here is that he was caught on video, and the little squirt who took it posted it to the crazy thing that you're all on right now. no, not my blog. yes, the internet.
so let me put it this way, when i was in seventh grade, my bio teacher was canned. he was by far the most popular teacher on campus. the teacher who was just fired (or rumored to have been) wasnt that close to being as loved by the students as he was. half way through the year, he gets canned, out of no-where. and we get this phsycotic evil women as a replacement for the rest of the year. i must say, she is one leading factor to why i detest bio so much.
anyways, this guy, who i am going to call a friend, because he was, was given the boot for a snowball! in all honesty, i think if he were to get kicked for anything yosemite related, it should have been for last year! if ANYTHING!!
according to the 8th graders, twas pretty fail this year.
but i dunno. its just depressing, first the can an awesome teacher, and then i make friends with this guy, we graduate, we go to highschool, visit him twice before rule is imposed that if we are seen on KMS campus, we can get suspended from MVHS! thus stopping us from seeing him.
and now he gets canned.
DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT LETTING NAMES OUT, AND I'M JUST SAYING, AS FAR AS I KNOW, THIS IS STILL JUST A RUMOR! DONT HOLD ME TO MY WORDS, OR QUOTE ME ON THIS.
As of today, i officially have three mthods of blogging, so i can blog whenever possible... I'm still likely to orget like i do with my twitter, which i hardly use, sadly... I know i installed that at last 2 posts a week thing but with the strss of getting everything right bfore The Odyssey opend, i just had no time! Btw, blogging from my phone right now. Cool, huh? Anyways, opening night went pretty good save for some mishaps. But hell, cant be avoided. Secnd night went really good though. I really wish we had more than 4 shows though! Ayways! You all should come see it if you can! Its MUCH better than the poem. And i liked the poem. So yea....
chilling at work with my dad in san ran today... Kinda bored since he's in meetings right now... Considering i have a computer right i fron o m, i have asolutey no iea why i'm using my phone... Stupid me, since i type fast than it can register, i make some pretty big spelling errors! I am kinda upset i hd to miss an apprently awesome concert due to the odysey on friday. The concert was for the Temper Trap... And it was at the Fillmore too garrrrr! Anyway, atleast i got 30 Seconds To Mars tickets! Thats gonna be pretty fun! Now this bloody phone just isnt picking up letters due to extreme lag. And so i'll blog more later, from my computer. Pardon the typos please!
tonight was amazing. sunset by the ocen was stunning, and a photographers dream... definitely going into my sunset triptych, which may expand to a proper series... so far it includes a shot in San fran, one in New york, and now, one in Santa Cruz... i'm gonna do some editing with aperture tomorrow, or i should say later today...
now to why i was in Santa Cruz, i was there to sell my beloved longborad, Eva. 'twas a good run, but i'm afraid i outgrew my fatty phase. anyways, when i was talking to the buyer online, i was imagining a medium built 14-16 yearold white kid, but instead, there was this tall, skinny, and lanky white kid... dunno how old, couldnt tell. well, hell, at least i got the white kid part right! i hope he treats her better than i did.
anyways, BC approved my graphic (somewhat) of a winged BC logo in orange , and an Orange PAcman Ghost... twas supposed to be on a black painted base, but their heat sublimation graphic process would show up on top of that, so i settled for that graphic on good ol' plain bamboo. so i still have to wait a month or so to actually orderit, as they're still down for more periods of time... till mid-april apparently...
nearly ordered thenew clutch cameltoe!
but yea, gonna seit up with some sabres, and will painte 'em orange.. gonna be sick. good news is i have an extra set of wheels and trucks now. but sadly, nothing to put em on... i'm either gonna brrow a friends extra deck, of just shove em n a skate deck... who knows.
anywho. i enjoyed sleeping in today. well worth it!!
oh, and i'm gonna get my room painted!! finally. except instead of being purple with bright green splatter like i'd wanted, my dad says it'll be too dark, so i'm opting for the opposite...
now i've typed alot, so this better hold you guys off for a while.
and yet again. if you see me monday, and read this, walk up to me and say photograph.
hell, write on my wall on facebook and do it, for all i care, just as long as some one reads this, i'll be happy. then i know i dont just waste my time.
seeing as i'm pretty busy with teching and other stuff, i havent been able to blog very often, not to mention being dead tired.... so hows about this, instead of trying a one-a-day blog post tactic, i'm gonna try for at least 2 a week. sound good?
anywho, today at tech was pretty chill... got "costumed", and did some odd jobs... me and kevin gallpoed around everywhere yesterday and today. seriously, tis bloody fun!!
our "costume" for tech is rip-off pants and a black tee shirt... so after we were aproved for fit and stuff, all us guys teching went to the guys changing rom and attempted to rip off the panst at the same time...
sadly, it failed. epically. the buttons were incredulously sticky..=[
so yea...
i want pie. reallllyyyyy bad... REALLYREALLYREALLYREALLYREALLY BADDDD!!!
nom.
oh,m did you know that some cats actually sometimes "say" "nom" while they eat?
epic, right? not only us weirdo humans do that!!
when you think about it, we are truly weird creatures... we walk on two feet, we have thumbs, blahhh... odd.
anyways, enough of my random ranting!
Should be changed to Hellweeks, for a coupla reasons...
Reason 1: we typically go till 10 every day, or at least most. Deathly tiring not to mention no time for homework, so already late bedtime gets pushed even fartber back.
Reason 2: since ms. Cornelison calls the Odessey oneva the most ambitious tech shows, i'll take her word for it. Now being on the tech crew, i can tell you that it indeed is very hardcore... I mean, scene changes DURING THE SCENE? whats this?
Reason3: incredibly stressful. Getting the swooshes clipped on perfectly, walkin on/off stage synchronized with everyone else, and getting cues right... Yea, pretty stressful.
After readingthat, i hope that whatever readers i DO have forgive me not bloghing recently. Though frequency, yea, sorry.
I truely wonder if anyone actually reads this!
If you do, come and say the following word to me when you see me at school tomorrow: photograph.
Nowngoodnight And goodbyw for now! I is exhoosted! I'm typin this from my ipod!!
- Posted using BlogPress from my iPod touch
i didnt get to see PA yesterday...
tech let me out too late yesterday, and we also had to go do something before the show, and by the time we'd be done with that an drive to santa cruz, it wouldnt have been worth it.
therefore, i made the decision to go to sadies. and boy, was that a stupid choice... all i did all night was talk to what ever single friends that went, and chill with them... all my other friends who have girl/boyfriends were busy freaking...
morahd, if you read this; i'm sorry, but i'm going to rant about music again.
the dj sucked. seriously... from what i know about mixing, he did a shitty ass job of it...
not only was his mixing terrible, he chose the worst song to play. considering our school's anti-freaking, or "pancaking" as evy said, policy, freaking was the only think you COULD do to that music... pathetic...
not the best use of a night.
anyways, today i groomed the dogs, and replaced the bathroom sink to earn some moolah for my new longboard deck, as no one's buying my current one... i'm going to have to hold off buying new trucks for now, since i havent sold my boards...=[
i'm gonna order my new deck as soon as BC confirms my deck idea!!
i've noticed i've become quite irresponsible with this blog of mine!
bad me!
i've just been swamped with tech week 1 this week... ending at 10 everyday save for today and tomorrow. sooo bloody tiring, yet quite fun! I am now officially a Tactor isntead of just a tech, which is awesome.
tomorrow night shall be amazing!
before you think "oh, someone asked him to sadies". the answewer is no, no one did, not that i care! i wouldnt go anyways (sorry).
why? because i'm going to santa cruz to see Picture Atlantic at their new album release listening party!!
incredulously stoked!
on that note. on moday, i fell and hit my knee pretty hard, then stupidly ran for 15 minutes on it, and up till this moringn was soo bloody stiff, i could hardly bend it. thus preventing me from my lovely longboard and drums.
i've been doing ton of odd jobs 'round the house to earn $100 for my new longboard deck, since no one is buying Eva... sadly.
anywho, i promise to blog about the show tomorrow!!
so far, so good. havent done much, really. i was pulled out to lunch with some friends on tuesday and wednesday. i've basically been sleeping in all week.
so as most of you guys know, i'm into longboarding. but my dillema is a=i can fund my passion!!
in woodshop, i'm building a replica '70's board, and i need to buy trucks and wheels for it, but i cant afford it!! i'm trying to sell my current skateboard and longboard too.
by the way, anyone wanna buy 'em,? =P
so i finally decided to wait for the new bigger lens for my camera, and get a 50mm lens and a flash. i thhink hats a good decision, as i wanna get into portraiture. and when i do, i will be needing models, so feel free to comment if you want the job. (no pay, just awesome pics to show off!!)
soo yea, i've been neglecting this poor blog. i'm thinking of chnaging the layout some...
who knows!!
i havent written in this blog for, what, 3 days now?
i'm sorry, i've been pretty busy...
well, yesterday, i went snowboarding as a day trip with my dad, bro, and some family friends. it was pretty fun! the only time i actually fell from losing control, becuase some asshole swerved RIGHT infront of me, i landed on my tailbone. successfully re-sparking an old injury, causing me pain today... when we got home, we found one of my BRAND FRICKEN NEW slidnig gloves that my brother bought me for christmas, chewed up and annihilated by my fricken cow of a dog, tasha.
i've noticed something, she only chews up MY stuff, ever since we got her...
always my stuff, never my brother's, dad's, or mum's.
well, worst part? i only used them twice. yes twice... and the cow chewed 'em up...
and now i'm out $40 and have a set of sliding pucks, and no gloves to stick 'em on.
my cousin who lives in LA is in town today, so we're gonna go get some 'za later...
for those of you who read my daily blog, for not blogging yesterday; i was beat.
i am today to, and forcing my self to type...
anywho, today was... average, as normal. fially figured out how o glue the kicktail on to the dck of my 70's replica skateboard. tomorrow, i'm probabaly gonna go longboarding to lunch with some friends, and go sliding and stuff.
man, i need a job. bad. i need some source of income to fund m hobbies!!
i mean, i've saved up for a lens, but to buy the lens i want, my savings would go kaput. 'nd thats not good...
plus with longboarding;, i want to get a BC Moray ($100) some Sabre Trucks ($56) and a Clutch Knucky/Babytoe ($116) plus i need some Bennets for my replica deck ($56) with some classic wheels ($29) and bearings ($10)... all in all, totalling $367. and i cant even sell Eva, my current board for anymore than $185 ( a bloody steal o a deal, btw).
like i said; i need a job!!
Any suggestions?
whoaza my muscles are sore as hell. all result of going to the gym alot recently, and lifting weights...
its totally gonna be worth it, but its painful right now...
anywho, normal day, kinda. tuesdays just arent meant to feel this long!! i'm agonizing over my course selections for next year. i REALLLYYYY want to be in photo 1, but, i'd have to put it as my seventh, and risk not getting in... which would suck. alot.
or i could skip out on PE next year, get on the baseball team 2 years in a row, and get those credits done, and that frees up aperiod for photo.
but i think i'm just gonna go with it as my seventh.
since tomorrow is NOT late start (just a reminder to those readers at MV), i'm gonna hit the hay now.
shite, gotta do my math homework. i should do it at LEAST once a week.
GAHHD DAMN!!! I FORGOT TO WRITE MY LIT PARAGRAPH ON NOTHING GOLD CAN STAY! GAHHHH
so today was routine as ever...wake up, go to school, blahblahblah, come home, screw around, go to schoolloop...
well the image above is a screenshot of what i got...
it fricken says "we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this outrage"
schoolloop just became more epic in my eyes, in addition to the fact that it was 3 sets of double letters IN A ROW!!
still recovering form working out at the gym yesterday morning... i've ben sore all day... lifted too much weights...
i hate how everyday slips into being exactly the same!! its quite annoying! i mean, i'd like some twists in my daily life sometimes, you know! and it jus makes me think: if i dont like school, my career later n life will be hell, therefore; i shall promise to try and avoid an office job as much as possible in my near future, and far fture as well... but who knows what path my life's on right now...
i'm currently listening to some 'floyd... man those guys ick major fricken ass! too bad they split! i'd've loved to see them live!!
was extremely fun. although i had t miss a (apperntly epic) superbowl party, twas fun!
we first went bowling at strike, which is always quite fun... i didnt play as good as i should have, but an hour and a half later, we hit the arcade, but first we hit the pool table... chetan lucked out at the end and beat me kieren... how he manged, i do not knw; sheer dumb luck i suppose.
anywho, i managed to get enough tickets to win a comic book, which wasnt that good, but whatever... then we hit the movie theater, to see Sherlock Holmes... there, Danny, whom we all feared was dead, met us!! it really was great to see him after so long... watching sherlock holmes again was quite entertaining...
after that, we headed back to kierens place whre we goofed offf a bit... crooks, sadly did not join us, but ah well...
we played COD: MWII, fun a hell... but we got bored, FAST! twas there i broke my vow, and how i regret it. i hope reeti wont read this, or i'm F*CKED!!! i had a monster, or most of one... god, i now realize why i gave that poison up!! it makes me remarkably hyper, and adds to my friken insomnia.
now, the highlight of my night: MJ totally taking chetan down!!
she had kieren's night vision goggles on (that he got wiht MWII), and kieren chucked a pillow at her. she didnt know who did it, so we blamed chetan, who'd walked out a seond before the pillow was thrown. as soon as he cam back, she essentially decked him, pinned him, and hit him several times.
if that wasnt a blow to his ego, i dont know what is!! it was truly a priceless moment!
and then,, the night ended, and so did the fun. good, fun sunday!
a shite, i didnt do my homework... ahh well.
what is it that make them chick flicks? well, i mean, why do girls love to watch movies about romance, and love and all that crap? what makes it so appealing?
i was dragged into seeing When In Rome today by, believe it or not, my brother and dad...
they thought it was a comedie, but i knew twas a chick flick! i wanted to see the new john travolta movie, but noooo...
but anywhoo, there was a group of 3-4 preteen girls sitting behind us,and i swear, they literally CRIED!!
PAH-FRICKEN-THETIC!!
why women and girls like to watch movies about heart break and shit, making guys the bad person, i dont know.
then again, why do we like to watch action flicks?
anyways...
hella tired today!
but uesh... blahh day, blahhh weekend. tomorrow should be good though!
tonight went well!
all though i was not preforming in the show, i did serve the guests, which was fun, albiet challenging, believe it or not.
it was fun! good show by the Improv Team, and the Jazz band!
and of course, i dont know if he'll read this, but congradualations is due to Jarryd Alfaro, for recieving the Andrew Segal Scholarship, as i believe it was called. correct me if i was wrong.
all in all, a good nightt, though the news that was apparently good, fell through, but ehh, no big deal..
KINDA dissappointed, but ehhhhh...
yes those of you who were in on tihs, mouths still must remain closed, as this is exactly why i didnt want to tell EVERYONE!!
i have had waayyyy too much sugr today, in many forms
my awesome jeans that i love cuz they are soft and broken in like hell and uberly comfortable's hole in the thigh, right where i stitche it up's, stiches tore today... and now the bloody hole grew, so i'm going to have to patch it up... =[.
anywho, i'd really like to know who my readers are! feel fre to comment and what not!!
was blehhh... nothhing special...
like a fricken idiot, i wrote those poems yesteday, yet i forgot to print 'em out, and i had to rewarite 'em at brunch today... otherthan that, nothing eventful happened today. just another blahhhh day.
fterschool was the rehearsal for the Drama Showcase. tragically, i was not picked to be preforming in the show itself. instead i'll be waiting on the show, which is fine... admittedly, i deserved to be benched, as it wasnt very smart to miss so many practices... but thats not ENTIRELY my fault...
so i helped with SetCon for the Odyssey, building desks...
and i got paint on my jeans and my new(ish) hoodie!! GARRRR.
but now here i am, listening to Babe I'm Gonna Leave You and writing this blog post...
i seriously need to learn to type; my method is a pain in the fingers!!
anyways, have any of you ever felt like just running away and just living life? i'm sick of Cupertino. well, today i am at least!!
i have a Love/Hate thing for this bloody town. somedays, its nice to live in a small community, but others, theres nothing to do! no where fun to go; nothing to do, bu go eat. closest this entertainment wise is Cupertino Square (what kind of name is THAT?) and thats quit out of longboarding distance...
well i take that back, the Oaks movie theater re-opened, and theres the teen center, but seriously? NOTHING else to do...
oh Listen! Whole Lotta Love!!
the hell?
on that note: i have some thing awesome go my way (for once), but i shall not disclose details just yet...
BLAARRGGGHHHHHH!!!
am i the only one who has a terrible time writing poetry? seriously!!!
i believe i suffer from ithikmystuffisshit-itis! i feel like no poem i write is good! and then i start over, and over, and over. and then i finally say screw it and turn one random one in...
plus the prompts are so fricken LAME!!
and when we get a prompt i do like, i end up writing something to personal to turn in. songwriting is so much more fun, mostly because the words dont NEED TO MAKE SENSE!!
so right now i'm writing a poem for lit. two actually, and i tihnk i'll just write 'em just right here.
i deleted all your music and replaced it with my own
i'm sorry, but your music taste is terrible, and must be changed
and my music is better.
i took and burnt your twilight books
they were terrible and it had to be done
and besides, Lord of the Rings and Hrry Potter are much better serieses.
i ate the cheese burger you saved in the fridge
i'm sorry, but i was famished and it was there
twas delicous, andi couldnt resist!
i took your car savings and spent it all on model cars
i'm sorry, i was bored, and wanted toys
at least you have more cars!
Rain
the pitter-patter
and the soft swishing of rain
so peaceful, pleasant.
arrgghh that took forever to write!!
poetry fustrates me to no end.
i said i'll be blogging about pie alot, and behold! the very fist pie blog post!!
if you've met me, you'd know i'm crazy about pie. meat, cherry, lemon, apple, pizza, you name it, chances are i love it!!
save for pies that include pumpkin, most vegetables and roots, with the exception of onions, and kidney...
i loves me a good steak and onion pie... bless em Brits for coming up with such ingeniousness.
i had pizza for dinner, and i must say, i love pizza. i'm too big of a fan of New York style... but theres one place thats purely amazing!!
its a little place on stevens creek, called A Slice of New York. best. NY. style. pizza. EVER!!
and i'm serious. i went to NY a few weeks ago, and even went to the VERY FIRST pizzaria in america... and it was TERRIBLE!! total SELLOUTS!!
but Chicago Deep-Dish is where its at. and only one awesome place nearby (or semi-nearby), and thats Patxi's (pah-cheese) in Downtown Palo Alto.
AMAZING!!
i'm actually asking my dad to fly me up for my birthday this year for 2 days of PIZZAPIZZAPIZZZA!!!
but meat pies are delicous too!! best one i ever had was in an english pb, of course, but i still havent had one yet that compares to it. i have had one at The Duke of Edinburgh that was delicous, though. pretty good, i must say.
and sweet pies, my god they are delicous!! chee=rry is my favorite, but i appreciate a goo lemon pie of any sort or apple pies are always welcome...
when i cant get a whole pie, and need a pie fix, hostess hand held pies are where its at... pretty good, considering..
and yes. this shall conclude it for today.
BEWARE: THERE SHALL BE MORE PIE POSTS IN THE FUTURE!!
ah school. the great wastage of time. all we look forward to there, is socializing with friends.
i, myself have nothing good to do there. i'm pretty much coasting in all my classes, except for Bio and french. oh man, how i hate bio. i admit, it is forty times better since that idiot, seremeta left, but all the same, i couldnt give a rat's ass for the subject. for those who are trly intrested in the subject, my apologies, but seriously? who gives? lifes life, just live it, and stop trying to figure out how we are made...
admittedly, it has its importance's, but i'm just not one for the bloody subject
french is just plain hard. as every foreign language is... but i swear to god, when i go to france next, and try speaking, they will immediatly lable me as an american...
i fail EPICALLY in pronunciations and accents.
now the class i truly HATE is PE, but hell, who doesnt?
now i was fine with running in middle school (not really, but it was better), mostly because the teachers were nice and ran WITH YOU!!
but here at MVHS, the teachers are lazy asses. the teachers who's names starts with a "t" especially. not to name any names though. BUt the female teachers are nicer, from what i've heard.

you guys should DEFINITLY check this band out.
they are purely amazing...
they are offically my favorite band, and if you know me well, thats a hard spot to get to, and if a band gets there, they're pretty good.
their current album is Kleos, which is an amazing album.
their new album, Dulce Et Decorum, should be coming out son.
quick story of how i heard of PA. they won a competition to open for Coldplay back in 'o8...
i got handed a free disc of Kleos, and i listened toit assoon as i got home..

en le cours de français, my good friend Raji said,"you suck" to someone she was sitting next to.
funny as it was, it was funnier, as the junior (i think) Victor, sitting next to her decided to say " Your Mom sucks".
all the while i was standing up infront of the projector screen waiting to play our vocab game(another story, for another day), and i'm trying not to crack up, when Sanjeev decides to say ," And I swallow."
needless to say, the class erupted into laughter, and i couldnt restrain myself from cracking up.
it became awkward, fast, as our teacher was sitting there, stone faced, as if nothing had happened...
i must say, random outburst like those make my day a teensy bit better!
So it looks as if i'm goig to restart this blog... i wonder how many people would actually read what i say...
anyways, to kick it off: i've noticed that the music industry is in the shitter.
you ought to know something is wong when Hannah montana, The JoBros, and rap and other pop music, that is real shitty by the way, dominates Rolling Stone Top 100 charts and is what everyone listens to. i mean, ROLLING STONE? A bloody ROCK magazine? somethings wrong here...
and its my sad duty to tell you rock fans, but Rock and Roll is dead.
Its now our jobs to Resurrect it!
